The Tower of Calculated Order - Home of the Auspice

 On the Isle of Thol, in the north of Glofeyne, sits a strange tower swirling with enchantment...

Recently I have been conversing with a 'fine mind' and it has become a mutual design project to house a 9th level Diviner who is servant to an Auspice (a benevolent alien artifact). The tower is essentially a massive lightning conductor charging a series of giant copper batteries underground, stored as food for its operational charge. The creation of and duties of the tower will come later - the need to be formatted. For now, here's the ImageFX graphic, from a description given to me. From this I'm having to reverse engineer a set of actual floor-plans. The first process has been to make sense of an artistic image with unclear intersections. I have to rationalise them before the plans can get made - normally, the plans are made then the elevations are projected from them. So there's the image of the tower and the rationalised elevation. Whereas the tower is a cylinder, the base tier comprises of three hexagonal platforms, towered at the angles, and the western facet projects three gatehouses. I can only imagine the central one goes to the base of the tower into chambers that are underground. The left might go to the lower circuit and the right to the upper circuit. This would signify three independent factions supporting the tower's function. The floorplans will move into development this week.
